Are you relying on your husband’s reaction or his anticipated reaction to make your life decisions?  Doing so may actually be doing more harm than good.

One of the reasons that wives hesitate to try new things in their relationship is for fear of how their husbands will react.  If they do something and their husbands get upset, they conclude they did the wrong thing.  If their husbands are pleased they believe they are doing the right thing.  In many marriages, following this pattern will lead to relationship failure.  A husband’s anticipated reaction to a new idea or a new change is not a good way to tell if that idea or change would be beneficial.

Weekends can be fun for the whole family without spending a lot of money.  With a little preparation, plan games for the kids that are fun to play, research crafts for the kids, take hikes and so much more.  Make the weekend a fun family event and make some memories.

The weekends are time the whole family can spend together, but everything is so expensive and there just doesn’t seem to be any money left over after the necessities are paid.  And, yet with nothing to do on the weekend, life can get pretty frazzled in a household.
