All about Woman Post

Holidays and special events are filled with memories which we do our best to capture on film. Often there are only a few really “good” photographs which, alone on a page, don’t do justice to all the special moments which make the time so memorable.

SO… faced with so many pics and such special memories…what do we do?

1. Choose those really “good” photos as key elements to tell your story. Print these larger depending on the requirements and size of your page or project. Matt or double-matt them individually or “pop” them to make them the focus of the design.

2. Print all the other pics smaller - the ones which are memorable, tell the story or highlight the key moment or idea - use these pictures in one of the following ways:

a) Side by side in a strip which is then matted as one long photo.

b) Stick them in a block or rectangle as dictated by your layout and matt these as a single “photo” again. If these are similar or “scenic”, a small “key” photo can be matted or popped on top of this “wallpaper” block. The popped little photo can be highlighted by individual matting, a brad or a shaped paper clip with some ribbon attached.

c) As a “wallpaper” directly on the background paper. Key elements can be highlighted using chipboard brackets or frames or emphasized using flowers or rub-ons.

d) Smaller photo’s can be mounted onto small puzzle pieces or other chipboard shapes and used on top of bigger pics to highlight key issues.

This way, the memories are as large as life and the stories are so much easier for future generations to visually appreciate. Enjoy!!
