Is the idea of having a baby shower turning you in to a nervous wreck? Then relax! Help is here to make your “big day” truly memorable and turn you in to the most envied mom in town, that’s why they call me The Baby Shower Queen.

The idea to keep your party alive is to have simple but fun games. It is always best to stick to preparation free simple games.

Games which have easy rules and are familiar to the girls are always the show stealer. For starters you could try the ‘Baby shower baby animal game’. In this game you need to read off names of different animals and see if the girls can name what their babies are called. Example Cat-kitten, Horse-foal, Lion-Cub etc.

This game is sure to set the mood rolling! Next you could try out the ‘baby shower memory game’ this game lets you test your friends’ power of observation and retention. Sounds fun doesn’t it? All you have to do is to ask someone to go around the room showing each person a box full of things for around 30 seconds. Now when this person leaves the room ask 10 questions on?

Any guesses? Yes you’ve guessed it right! Ask the 10 question about the person carrying the box! Example-What was the color of her eyes? Was she wearing a watch? While your guests will be busy recalling the items in the box these questions are sure to catch them off guard!

The next game called ‘How big is the baby game’ lets the mother-to-be have her share of lime light. In this game you need to pass around a tissue paper roll asking the guests to tear an amount which they think will wrap around the mom to be. The girl who gets the most accurate size of tissue gets to be the winner!

Diapers may give you the jitters but the ‘Diaper Doo Doo game’ promises to be real fun! All you need to do is to drop a candy bar each in half a dozen diapers and keep it in a warm place to melt(yuck!).Some candy bars which work well are Kit-Kat, Mars, milky way bars and reeses. Now pass these “dirty diapers” around, the winner is the one who can identify the most number of diapers correctly!

If you happen to throw a shower where kids need to tag along then do make sure they are not avoided. Do remember to have some age appropriate games to keep them happily engaged.

Your baby shower is not just about one great day or having a winning party, but what counts is that the memory of the shower is sure to spark up your life for the weeks and months to follow! So don’t restrict yourself, make sure you make it big and worth remembering!
